Looking Back 2026 -

These paintings began with the thought that perhaps the past is not as distant as we imagine. The animals, drawn from the language of prehistoric cave art, appear less as remnants than as engaged witnesses, staring outwards across time. Something ancient, something patient and still unresolved seems to be looking back at us.
